Earlier this week, Faerybabyy (AKA Payton Morse ) made her musical debut with the refreshingly upbeat “Milk Time”. It hooks you in with a bright and fun melody but the smooth cheerful vocals will have you listening to it on repeat for quite some time. It has a colorful, indie pop sound, but there’s a bit of twangy country quality that makes it really stand out. Its fun and nostalgic feel is guaranteed to boost your mood. If you’re looking for the soundtrack to a spring day this is it.
The track is a lot like Payton herself, bubbly and infectious. Originally it wasn’t the easiest for her to share, she’s actually had the song for two years. She states she originally felt trepidation about releasing the track but now felt like the right time saying “This is my coming out of my cave, I guess, and saying a nice heck off to being controlled by insecurity”. She also says that this is only the first of many more songs to come. We’re looking forward to hearing more from Faerybabyy! “Milk Time” is currently available on all platforms.
